What is hard wax?
Hard wax, also known as stripless wax, is a type of synthetic wax blend that is sold in the form of beads or tablets. When hard wax is heated, it transforms from a solid to a viscous wax that is applied directly to the skin. Once applied, the wax will begin to harden and bind around the unwanted hairs surrounding the area. Once the hard wax has hardened, the hard wax is removed without the use of a strip, taking the hair with it.

Unlike hard wax, soft wax does adhere to your skin during the waxing process – getting as close to the root of the hair follicle as possible. If that wasn't a great selling point, one of soft wax’s most prominent characteristics is its ability to bind to both small, thin hairs, as well as coarse pubic hair.
